| Well im almost 100% everyone who is reading this knows what JD is and what it effect is. For those who don't though, here it is.
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 4 or more "Lightsworn" monsters with different names in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can pay 1000 Life Points; destroy all other cards on the field. During each of your End Phases: Send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. You must control this face-up card to activate and to resolve this effect. His attack and defense: 3000/2600 LIGHT Dragon Level 8
The only set condition for it's summon it to have 4 Lightsworn monsters in the grave. A good LS deck can easily do this on the first turn. From there, they will often summon him and they will pay the small cost of 1000 lps to destroy everything else on the field. Have a zenmaines on your field and think your safe? Your not. The player who controls JD can use the effect as many times as they want in one turn. So if you use zen's effect to keep it alive, the other player will just use JD's effect again and again until dead. The only time they would not do that is if they are low on lps, or if they feel they should just kill it by battle and not use another 1000 lps (Well maybe they are nooby and don't know they can use his effect again). And that's not the end of this BS stuff. This happens often enough to mention. Most LS players will SWARM the field with high attack beatsticks like JD after they use his effect, leading to an OTK. I forgot to add this. That mill 4 part actually HELPS lightsworns. If you think a lightsworn deck is about to mill out, they are probably about to make a big push with some beatsticks and stuff. I myself have only milled out 2 times. Both happened when my enemy was able to stop my attacks long enough for me to mil out.
So what are your personal opinions on this BS card and what cards would you side against a LS or LS mix deck?

| JD is bull, but it IS the lightsworn boss monster. If they didn't have it lightsworn would royally suck. Sure they can get seryphion and stuff like that but they are too easy to destroy and too slow to get out. Lightsworn in my honest opinion should only get hit on one way - a banned honest because honest is much worse. | |

| They need to limit JD already...or at least change his effect to a once per turn deal.. | |

| They really don't... Lightsworn are not topping. Besides less people will buy the new lightsworn stuff if the boss monster is hit, especially when it isn't topping anyway. Its nerfing a mediocre deck | |

| Well I acknoledge that it is a bs card, but I do like lightsworns. I almost never see them however and it is, as Jesse said, a mediocre deck. Unless it starts topping somewhere, it's not going to be gimped. There are too many cards that can shut them down. On that note, no one has posted anything on what you would side against them or a LS mix. So I am going to list 2. An obvious one is light-imprissoning mirror. This stops the effects of all light monster, which in turn stops their main source of milling, monster effects. And I believe correct me if I'm wrong) that most LS don't run more then 1 MST, if they run any at all, because of the the monster I believe was called LS priestess. (I can't remember the name) that's their monster That can pop any spell or trap and also mills, so you shouldn't see more then one mystical space typhoon in main. The second one is Imperial Iron Wall. This is good against a LS chaos deck, as it stops all banishing. So what other cards would side against a lightsworns deck, and how would they help? (Feel free to fill in anything I dint say, but I'm typing on my phone so I'm sure I have a few mistakes) also feel free to fill in tany names I forgot. XD | |

| I can't play any matches without seeing them 9/10 times, and their speed is ridiculous. They're my most hated deck. | |

| Really? I rarely see them and if I lose round 1 usually half my side cards go in and obliterate them because too many common side cards do take them out. | |

| I can never win round 1 nor 2 because they pull out three JDs and two Lightrays before I can even draw the cards I side in.. | |

| You need some amount of luck to win.I don't care how good you are, if you start with 3 wolf 1 celestial and 2 JDS, you are not winning if the opponent has eset 3 su and 2 nebthet. | |
