So I would like to suggest an event called "60-Card Deck Extravaganza". Like the name suggest, each participant need to make a 60-card deck and no less and make them duel each other. The point of this event is to test the individual deck building skill which is also an essential element in YGO since it influence your deck consistency and overall performance.
"But Sieg, there's no way a duelist can make a consistent 60-card deck that can handle the competitive scene," say the whiner.
While the whiner has a point in his statement where it is nearly impossible to make a 60-card deck as consistent as the 40-card deck, that is not the main aspect in this event. Since it is already hard to make a 60-card deck, it also will challenge the duelist's skill as it is very random and can't expect what will you get from a draw. This way, it can improve an individual skill as an duelist and as a deck builder.
This is the end of my long statement as a pillar for my suggestion. I hope the administration board will take a lot of consideration for this humble suggestion of mine.
Thank you for reading.
FAQ
Q: "You said that it is nearly impossible to make a consistent 60-card deck. Are you saying that there is a consistent 60-card deck out there?" by conspiracy theorist
A: The answer for that question is big, fat yes. I have met someone that had build a consistent 60-card deck. The deck is Dragon Ruler featuring Prophecy. Please note that it was before the baby rulers was banned."
P.S. Lever10, if you take this suggestion into a consideration, I will finish chapter 3 for YGO FES as soon as I can.
