Sacred Beast vs Egyptian God Tournament

The Egyptian Gods were the a huge part of the huge anime. Then in the second anime the sacred beasts came along. As a clear knockoff, many people were upset. Many were impressed. Since then there is sometimes arguments of who is best, Egyptian Gods or Sacred Beasts.

This tournament will consist of 8 players. There will be two teams of 4 people, each team representing either the sacred beasts or the egyptian gods. 6 people will represent one single card and must run 2 or more copies of it. The fourth player in the team will be the "leader" and will run 1 of every card. Cards that screw over that specific deck that is NOT a common staple is prohibited. Dust Tornado and Mystical Space Typhoon are not because they are staples. Decks are locked so you can not change it between fights.

For each match you win you get 50 CS. If you are on the winning team, win or lose, you gain 100 CS.

To enter just type that you would like to enter and with what deck (ex. Raviel, Slifer, Egyptian God Leader). I will enter last and take the remaining slot.

What do you mean? You must run 1 of each god, follow the TCG format, and don't play any cheap cards. For example, exile of the wicked, destroying all fiend types on the field, is kind of a cheap move to pull against the Raviel Player. Your deck must also be centered or have big attempts to summon your monsters. For example someone choosing Raviel can't just run brofist and win trying to get around 2 dead cards.

OTKs are not allowed in tournaments. However the ability TO OTK is different. You can have a deck that is able to OTK but you can't have a deck based around that OTK.

Well the idea is to draw a crap ton of cards then use those cards as fodder for summon while simultaneously destroying ur field Is that ok? (That picture was my 2nd turn)

As long as it isn't based around that lone strategy it's fine.

Well that's my only strategy. I may end up summoning vanitys fiend but that's it really for other things I may do.

Having Tethys is fine... but having it a slfier OTK deck is not..
